And yet showrunner Dana Terrace and the rest of the creators on the show manage to defy all expectations, telling a tight emotional story that resonates far beyond just three episodes. After saving the Demon Realm, the Collector restores everyone to normal and everyone is happily reunited with their family and friends. Everyone begins rebuilding the Isles, and while some were hesitant to change, many were ready to give it a shot.

As usual with my reviews, to make things easier, I will be discussing the episode in order from beginning to end. Although, some expressed disappointment over the cut storylines and arcs for certain characters in order to fit in with the shortened season. Hunter and Willow fly into town, passing by the rebuilt Boiling Isles, and stop at the library where Lilith and Hooty work as architects with Matt and Kikimora. Amity then arrives at an Abomination blimp, now proficient in Abomination engineering. She jumps into Lilith's open arms, happy to see her, and gives Lilith a book on the Titan-Collector war whom Lilith gives to Matt. Assuming her own harpy form, Lilith flies with the kids' group and they pass by Hexside, waving to their Hexside classmates-turned-teachers and a retired Bump who has taken up gardening.
Watching And Dreaming textless ending scene

Right then, Luz, and the audience, realize something; with The Titan dead, the glyphs no longer work. As Luz says, a chapter of her life has just ended, but another was just beginning. Luz's spirit finds herself sinking into a dark void, but is rescued by the Titan, King's father. The Titan explains that she is only partially dead and warns her that sinking into the void will result in her permanent death. The place they are standing in, is the space in-between, where the Titan has been trapped for quite some time. But thanks to the cubes, he has been able to keep an eye on his son and those who have been kind to him.

Meet Bud: National Aviary announces arrival of new Andean condor WTAE
An apparition of Bill appears behind him, startling King, and he demands to know what Bill is doing. He shows King the Collector's shrine, then grabs King to sacrifice him to it. She quickly breaks out by turning into her harpy form and flies outside.
This is due to Luz's three-year contribution to rebuilding the Isles, meant to cover her 15th, 16th, and 17th birthdays to make up for her hard work. While surprised by the macabre nature of the style, Camila compliments their hard work. King then thrills Luz by sketching a different version of the light glyph and summons light. He has acquired the ability to empower the glyphs again, creating a new language of glyph magic for Luz to master. There are many things I didn’t mention in the last section, as every frame of the epilogue has so much in it that mentioning everything would take way too long in the text. However, there are / YouTube videos that break the episode down to talk about all those small details.
Long ago, he was tricked by his siblings, the Archivists, into playing with the Titans, who were very welcoming to him. The blame was pinned on the Collector, and he was imprisoned by the last Titan. Luz, Eda, and King begin to understand the Collector; he is a child who has been alone, abandoned, and misunderstood like themselves. They offer to be his friends and tell him stories of how they became friends. Raine manages to break the Collector's spell and expels Belos from their body.

It’s typical finale fare, giving both the characters and the audience one last romp through memory lane. Raine purges Belos from their body, but cannot prevent him from merging with the heart. Belos grows a massive body out of his spores and begins infecting the Boiling Isles, causing widespread destruction.
Tropes in this episode include:
She frees Raine, and the two embrace, with Luz and King waiting nearby. The group travels to the throne room, where Belos is fused with the heart. Luz flies up to him and begins pulling Belos out, but Belos summons moldy tendrils to defend himself. Eda, King, and Raine help keep the mold at bay, while Luz continues her effort. Summoning all her strength, an enraged Luz ultimately removes Belos from the Titan's heart, referencing the Good Witch Azura, terminating his control over the Boiling Isles.
At USC, arrests. At UCLA, hands off. Why pro-Palestinian protests have not blown up on UC campuses

Stringbean awakens and flies to the figure standing in the dust, parting to reveal Luz, who is now imbued with Titan magic, taking on Titan-like features. Eda cries with tears of joy, before a rumble on the ground interrupts them. Luz conjures an orb to move them from the area to above the Titan's heart.
The Collector, Amity, Gus, Willow, Hunter, and Camilla are successful in curing everyone, and everyone on the island reunites, including Luz with her friends and Camilla. Hoping to see King again in the future, the Collector departs to space. Luz says farewell to a horrified Eda and King, before succumbing to the mold and dying, leaving behind small particles of light. The Collector tries to reach for her hand, but catches only one of the light particles.
I will certainly be rewatching it, and hoping for more content in the future, whatever form it takes. We then transition to Luz’s bedroom in the Human Realm, where we learn she has graduated from high school and is heading off to college. Then, on command from Vee, we see Owlbert fly through the new portal door to gather the rest of the gang. She flies down to the forest where we see (to many peoples’ joy), Hunter carving a Palisman for Braxas, having clearly learned from Dell Clawthorne, who sits behind him with Gwendolyn.
Although Eda is defensive about Luz going to talk to him, King assures her to trust Luz. Seeing the Collector upset, Luz tells the Collector he can't keep the games up forever, but the Collector confesses all he wanted was a friend who will never lie or betray him. But he believes that everyone who claims to be a friend inevitably lies, like King, Belos, or his own siblings, the Archivists.
We also see that he has a new Palisman, a Bluejay named Waffles. Hunter leaves with Willow, and they travel down a hill to where (to everyone’s sadness) where Flapjack’s grave stands. The pair fly over Bonesborough, where we see various characters around town going about their day, others working on the rebuilding. She’s planning, specifically, a museum section of the library, where Hooty is the curator.

Terrace is the fourth woman to create a series for Disney Television Animation, after Pepper Ann (created by Sue Rose), Doc McStuffins (created by Chris Nee), and Star vs. the Forces of Evil (created by Daron Nefcy). The Collector has also put Eda and King in a nightmare scenario of their own.
They’re sorry for everything, and, for the first time, cries, tears pouring from their eyes. With this distraction, Belos attempts to crush them with his hand, but as soon as it reaches them, a giant hole is made through his hand right where the group stands. Then, to their amazement and Belos’ rage, in a circle of orange and purple magic, Luz reappears.
